Cookies and Cream Fudge Brownies
These brownies are every chocaholics dream. I don’t think it gets more chocolaty than this. You’ll only need a teeny bite to satisfy your cravings and the crunch of the cookies adds that little something.
Super easy to make, I think these are probably one of the best brownies I’ve ever tasted. Try for yourself :)

Roast Lemon Chicken
This simple one-pot-roast chicken is absolutely delicious, incredibly simple to make and cheap as chips.
Chicken legs are the most flavoursome and succulent part of the chicken and the lemon and rosemary add a lovely aroma to the whole dish. Not to mention that super crispy skin…mmmmm.
It is also a great dish if you are cooking for lots of people, as it takes no preparation time at all...

Marmite and Chilli Pork
I have always found simply pan-frying pork, chicken or fish to be a little bland. It’s taken years of searching for a good marinade for me to return to the old classic: a soy, chilli, garlic and honey glaze.

Warm Lentil Salad
This is a healthy, comfort dish full of earthy flavours and really easy to make. You can add any vegetables you like and have the salad warm or cold. For a slight variation replace the bacon with chorizo and ditch the smoked paprika. If you feel like going down the super healthy route go all veggie and replace the creme legere with low fat fromage frais.

Ed's Spaghetti Bolognese
My brother used to cook this up for us when we were students and I have never tasted another Spaghetti Bolognese that beats his. If you like your Bolognese soupy, this one’s not for you. The sauce is really intense, thick and full of flavour - the ultimate comfort dish. Give it lots of time to bubble away and you will not regret the wait.

Spiced Orange Cake
This is a lovely, fragrant and aromatic cake. Perfect for afternoon tea on a cold winter weekend, all it needs is a good old cuppa or a glass of milk.
I’ve been having this cake for breakfast and it makes a great substitute for my morning marmalade on toast.
